A new agency model.

This is simple.
Clients complain agencies are expensive.
Agencies complain clients don't buy good work.
Assuming an agency can create good on-brief work if they are left unmolested, the pricing structure below should save clients a fortune and improve the quality of creative everywhere.

Who says I shouldn't be running a holding company?

Original idea based on original brief………..$1,000
1st revision…………………………………...$1,500
2nd revision…………………………………..$5,000
3rd revision………………………………….$10,000
4th revision………………………………….$25,000
5th revision………………………………….$50,000
6th revision………………………………….$75,000
7th revision…………………………………$100,000
8th revision…………………………………$150,000
And so on...

George,

It's not bad, actually. One original takes you and a research-hound the morning if unmolested, and you're off to the deli for lunch with your afternoon free. Not even any time to shove gobbledegook into it. The longer I look at that the more enticing it is.

Yet the big kids always want to start at the deep end of the pool. Crazy.

Regards,

Kelly

From Gordon Ramsay's Recipes:

"To make the shortbread, sift the flour, rice flour and salt together. Beat the butter and caster sugar together, using an electric mixer, until smooth. Add the egg slowly, then turn the machine to its lowest setting and add the flour, a spoonful at a time, until the mixture just comes together and forms a soft dough; do not overwork."

There's an analogy in there somewhere.
